Bio

Han-Huei (Crystal) Tsay is a first year PhD student in the Department of Management. She received her Bachelor degree in Accounting, National Taiwan University and her Master degree in Organizational and Social Psychology, London School of Economics. When she worked as a project assistant at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, she developed her major research interest in organizational learning because she believes that “learning how to learn” is the most important factor for today’s organizations to be adaptive in the ever-changing business world.

Crystal completed her master’s thesis by using social identity approach and fashion theories to explain how young Taiwanese women perceive their body images. From this work, she started to be interested in the psychological well-beings of people. So her secondary research interest is the emotions in workplace. She would like to discover how to radically help workers transform negative emotions into positive ones, creating enjoyable and fulfilling working lives.

Crystal’s life motto is “being open-minded, positive, and generous.” She is learning how to use positive energy in creating life reality. She enjoys reading spiritual books and practicing meditation. Swimming and cooking are also her ways for relaxation.
